Two Types of Office Demo — Both Done in One Visit

NC office demolition breaks into two jobs. We handle both.

Tenant Improvement (TI) Demo

TI demo removes a previous buildout so the space is ready for new occupancy. That includes:

  • Drop ceilings and ceiling grid
  • Partition walls and glass office fronts
  • Built-in millwork, cabinetry, and casework
  • Raised flooring and data room infrastructure

One important note: partition walls in commercial spaces are frequently load-bearing at the ceiling grid even when they don’t look structural. We work off a scope document and coordinate with the building owner before anything comes down.

Office Clearouts

Furniture and fixture clearouts are high-volume jobs — the speed depends on crew size and truck rotation.

  • A 10,000 sq ft open-plan office with 50 workstations typically takes 1–2 full days
  • Cubicle systems (Herman Miller, Steelcase, panel-based systems) need to come apart in a specific sequence — we know the order
  • Filing systems, equipment, and loose furniture all load in the same trip

On documents: we haul document boxes, but shredding is not part of our service. If you have significant document volume, confirm your destruction protocol before clearout day.

Why Junk Doctors

Why Customers Choose Us.

1

We Work Around Your Lease and Contractor Timeline

Office demo usually runs on a tight turnaround between tenant exit and contractor start. We know this and schedule accordingly. Evening and weekend work is available for jobs that need to avoid business disruption.

2

Volume Hauling Is What We Do

Office demolition generates a lot of material fast. Cubicle systems, drywall, flooring — it piles up. We have the truck capacity to handle large commercial volumes without multiple scheduling delays.

3

Hazardous Materials Are Outside Our Scope

Asbestos, lead paint, and PCBs in older commercial buildouts need certified abatement before we demo. We'll flag anything obvious during our walk-through, but clearance is on you before we start.

4

You Get a Clear Space, Not a Dumpster Bill

On large office jobs, renting a roll-off means coordinating delivery, placement, and multiple pickups. We haul continuously as we work, which keeps the site clear and avoids the weekly rental clock.

FAQ

Questions Answered.

Office demolition pricing depends on square footage and scope. Cubicle system removal for a mid-size office runs $500–$1,500. Full office gut work — walls, flooring, ceiling grid, and fixtures — starts around $1,000 and scales with size. We quote on-site for all commercial jobs so you see the exact number before crews start.
That's on you to coordinate with the property manager or landlord. We don't pull permits for commercial tenant improvements — that's the tenant's or contractor's responsibility. We show up and do the physical work once access is confirmed.
Yes. We take cubicle systems apart panel by panel. We're not cutting or breaking them apart unless they're already damaged. Ceiling grid and floor tile in adjacent areas are protected during removal.
If the system has resale value, we can direct it to used office furniture dealers. If you want to donate it, we'll coordinate that. If it's just going out, we handle disposal. Tell us your preference when we quote.
We schedule after-hours and weekend crews regularly for commercial clients. There may be a rate adjustment for off-hours work on large jobs. Tell us your access constraints when you call.
Yes. Raised access flooring systems — the kind used in IT rooms and trading floors — are removed panel by panel. The pedestals and stringers come out too. It's time-intensive but we do it.
Commercial jobs larger than a few hundred square feet get an on-site quote. The variables — ceiling height, flooring type, number of cubicle panels, access logistics — make phone quotes unreliable.
