Why Junk Doctors

Why Customers Choose Us

1

We Handle Every Route Out

Stairs, tight hallways, doors that only open 80 degrees — we figure out the path before we start moving. We've carried king-size beds down spiral staircases in Raleigh townhomes and disassembled dining sets piece by piece to clear a doorway in older Durham homes. The furniture comes out. That's the job.

2

Same-Day or It's Free

Call before 3 PM and we'll be there today. If we miss the window, the removal is free — up to one full truckload. We run furniture crews Monday through Saturday across Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Charlotte, and Greensboro.

3

Price Confirmed Before We Touch Anything

A single sofa typically runs $135–$200. A full room runs more — we assess the load on-site and give you the number. You approve it. Then the crew starts. No surprises when the truck is packed, no fees added after.

4

Donation Gets First Shot

Furniture that's still in usable shape goes to Habitat for Humanity ReStores and area nonprofits before we consider anything else. We've dropped off sofas, dining sets, and dressers at ReStores across the Triangle on the same day we hauled them. Metal frames go to certified recyclers. The rest goes to a licensed facility.

FAQ

Questions Answered.

Furniture removal is priced by volume — how much space your items take in our truck. A single sofa runs $135–$200 depending on size. A sectional or large bedroom set runs $150–$300. A full room clearout typically runs $250–$450. You get the exact price on-site before we touch anything.
Yes. Narrow hallways, staircases, awkward angles — our crew handles the route. We've carried king-size beds down spiral staircases and L-shaped sectionals through kitchen doorways in Raleigh townhomes. You don't need to drag anything to the door or driveway first.
Yes. We haul from apartments, condos, and multi-story buildings. If the building has an elevator, we use it. If it's stairs-only, our crew carries everything down. Property type and floor level don't affect the service — they may affect timing, which we factor into the on-site quote.
Yes. Sleeper sofas are among the heaviest furniture pieces we haul — the inner metal frame adds significant weight. We handle them regularly. If your unit is in a tight space or has a narrow exit path, let us know when booking so we bring the right crew size.
Yes. Stained, broken, or heavily worn furniture is not a problem. It doesn't matter if it's in rough condition — we haul it either way.
Furniture in usable condition goes to Habitat for Humanity ReStores and nonprofit donation partners in the Triangle before anything else. What can't be donated is sorted — metal components to certified recyclers, fabric and foam to licensed disposal facilities. Nothing gets abandoned or illegally dumped — disposal routes comply with [NC DEQ solid waste standards](https://www.deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/waste-management/solid-waste).
Yes. Living rooms, bedrooms, home offices — full room clearouts in a single visit. Larger volumes often work out to a better per-piece price than booking multiple smaller pickups.
No. We take furniture as-is. If something needs disassembly to get out — a large sectional through a tight doorway, a bed frame in an attic — our crew handles it on-site.
