Garage Cleanouts in Raleigh — What We Take
Garage cleanouts in Raleigh range from a corner of boxes and old holiday decorations to a full two-car garage packed floor to ceiling with 20 years of accumulated items. We quote based on what’s there — either from an on-site look or from photos if you want an estimate before booking.
What we take from garages: old furniture, boxes of miscellaneous household items, old power tools (working or not), outdoor equipment, old bicycles, automotive parts (no fluids), sporting equipment, boxes of books and clothing, and general clutter. We don’t take motor oil, gasoline, paint, or other hazardous liquids — those need to go through Wake County’s hazardous waste disposal program. If you have leftover construction debris from a recent renovation stored in the garage — lumber scraps, tile, drywall — that comes out in the same load.
One thing garages often have that adds to the job: old appliances. Refrigerators and freezers in the garage are common in Raleigh homes. If you have appliances in the garage, those get priced into the load and recycled properly — not dumped.
Garage cleanouts typically take 2–4 hours depending on volume and how much sorting is needed. If you want to go through boxes before they go in the truck, we can work around that — we’ll stage items in a section you’re not touching while you review others. If everything goes, we just load. If you’re clearing the entire property — garage plus the house — that’s a full estate cleanout and we staff it accordingly.
