Why Junk Doctors

Why Customers Choose Us

1

Demolition Is Part of the Job

A shed doesn't come out in one piece. The roof comes off first, then the walls, then the floor framing — in that order, so the structure doesn't collapse on the crew. We bring the tools, do the teardown, and load the debris as we go. When we leave, the footprint is clear.

2

Rotted Structures Are the Most Common Job We Get

Sheds that have been sitting for 15 years in a North Carolina summer tend to have rotted sills, rusted fasteners, and panels that fall apart when you touch them. That doesn't slow us down. It's actually easier to break apart than a solid structure — it just requires the right approach and proper PPE.

3

Concrete Pads Are a Separate Add-On

If the shed is sitting on a concrete slab and you want that gone too, we quote it separately. Breaking up concrete and hauling it is a different job from removing wood and metal panels — different equipment, different disposal cost. The pricing is distinct so you know exactly what you're paying for each part.

4

Site Cleaned After the Load Leaves

After the structure is out and the truck is loaded, we walk the site. Nails in the ground, hinge hardware, broken panel edges — all of it gets collected. The footprint you get back is flat, clear, and ready for whatever comes next.

FAQ

Questions Answered.

No. We remove the contents along with the structure. If you want to pull out anything you're keeping beforehand, that's fine, but it's not required.
Yes, as an add-on. Concrete removal is a separate line item because it takes more equipment and disposal cost. When you call, mention the pad and we'll include it in the quote.
Yes. Deteriorated sheds are actually some of the more common jobs we handle. Rotted wood and collapsed panels still need to be cleared out and hauled away. Condition doesn't prevent us from taking it.
Metal shed panels go to certified scrap recyclers per [NC DEQ waste standards](https://www.deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/waste-management/solid-waste). Usable tools or equipment from inside go to local donation partners when they're in working condition. Wood and structural debris that can't be reused goes to licensed disposal facilities.
A standard garden shed takes one to two hours to break down and load. Larger structures or those with substantial contents may take three to four hours. We'll give you an honest time estimate when we see it.
