How Charlotte Furniture Removal Works
We cover Charlotte city proper, all of Mecklenburg County, and nearby Union and Cabarrus County areas when crews are available. Pricing is by truckload space, not by piece count.
Sofas and sectionals are the most common call. A standard three-seat sofa takes roughly a quarter of our truck; a large L-shaped sectional can take half. If you have a full room — sofa, coffee table, side tables, lamps — we price the load, not each item. That usually works in your favor. If you’re also clearing out appliances from the same space, we can combine it into a single visit — no need to book a second truck.
For upper floors, we handle the stairwell. Tell us when you book whether there are stairs involved so we bring enough crew. Narrow stairwells and tight corners slow things down but don’t stop us. What does stop us is furniture that genuinely won’t fit around a turn without disassembly — if that’s your situation, we’ll let you know before we start rather than after we’ve gotten it halfway down.
Charlotte thrift partners and resellers take furniture from us when it’s in usable condition. Good sofas, solid wood pieces, and intact bedroom sets often find a second home. When the condition rules that out, we go to disposal facilities. We don’t sort on the truck, but when we do the post-load processing, items that can be donated are.
