Yard Waste Removal in Charlotte — What We Haul
Charlotte’s yard debris service covers brush, branches, tree limbs, old sod, garden soil, bagged leaves, pulled shrubs, and root balls from removed trees. We don’t haul live trees with root systems still attached — that’s a tree service job. Once the tree is down and cut into manageable pieces, we take it.
Timing matters with yard waste. Charlotte city limits have specific disposal options for clean yard debris — we process through those channels when the load qualifies. Mixed loads (yard debris plus lumber, treated wood, or construction material) go to C&D facilities instead of organic processing. If you want the yard debris kept separate for composting purposes, tell us when you call.
Soil and gravel loads get heavy fast. A cubic yard of wet soil weighs close to a ton. We price heavy material loads differently from light debris like brush and branches — expect us to discuss that distinction when you describe what you have. Large soil removal jobs sometimes require multiple trips or a different equipment arrangement.
We typically have availability the same day or next day for yard waste jobs in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Spring and fall are the busiest windows — if you’re working around a neighborhood cleanup or post-storm clearing, call early in the morning to get on the day’s schedule.
