Why Junk Doctors

Why Customers Choose Us

1

Demo and Haul in One Visit

A lot of companies either demo or haul — not both. Our crew does the teardown and loads the truck the same day. The site is clear before we leave. You don't coordinate two separate jobs.

2

Non-Structural Work Only

We handle light residential demo: decks, sheds, non-load-bearing interior walls, bathroom fixtures, fences, and concrete pads. We do not touch structural walls, load-bearing elements, or any work that requires a permit. If you're unsure whether a wall is structural, we'll tell you before we touch it.

3

Permits Are the Owner's Responsibility

We don't pull permits and we don't advise on permit requirements. Some demo work in Raleigh and surrounding areas requires a permit from the city. Check with your local permitting office if you're unsure. We show up and do the physical work once that's sorted.

4

Contractor-Friendly Scheduling

Working on a renovation timeline? We work with GCs and homeowners to schedule demo at the right point in the project. Same-day availability when the schedule opens up — call before 3 PM.

FAQ

Questions Answered.

We handle light residential demolition: decks, fences, sheds, non-load-bearing interior walls, bathroom fixtures, and concrete pads. We do not demo structural or load-bearing walls, perform electrical or plumbing disconnection beyond basic fixture removal, or take on work that requires a building permit. If something is on the edge, we'll let you know before we start.
No. Permits are the property owner's responsibility. Some projects in Raleigh require a demo permit before work begins. We recommend checking with the city or your contractor before scheduling. We show up and do the physical work once permitting is handled.
Yes. The truck comes with the crew. Everything we tear down goes on the truck and leaves with us. There's no pile left behind for you to deal with or schedule a separate pickup for.
Materials are sorted on-site: concrete and masonry go to aggregate recyclers, metal framing and hardware to certified scrap recyclers, clean lumber to salvage facilities when possible. Mixed debris goes to a licensed disposal facility — nothing gets dumped on-site.
Yes. We work alongside general contractors regularly — usually for demo day at the start of a renovation or for cleanup at the end. Coordinate the timing with your GC and we'll slot in when the work needs to happen.
